Throughout the generations the great Kabbalists have continuously presented, each in their own time, the solution to the endless sufferings and problems our nation is afflicted with and this is: the unification of the nation. The same unification that we lost at the falling of the temple, and as a result lost the country, and to a great extent the nation's identity. Now, after 2000 years, four exiles, a horrible holocaust , and many failed attempts to create a foundation for the immigration of Jews from all over the world, that would fuse with the nation; more torn and separated than ever before, we are now again faced with a genuine risk to our very survival.
The power to return what is special about us can only come from studying the wisdom of Kabbalah and its authentic sources. That is the reason why this ancient wisdom is becoming revealed today, positioned at the center of the spiritual arena. By cleverly leveraging this deep material that is so relevant for our time we can protect ourselves against the threats coming from every direction, and pump new meaning into our life that will fill us with happiness, security and peace. The last Kabbalist of our time, the author of the commentary on the Book of Zohar, Rav Yehuda Ashlag, had a great desire to convey and present this solution that was intended for our nation. In the last few years of his life he published a newspaper called The Nation, and hoped to provide the solution to our general existence through it. Sixty-five years have passed since then, our situation has not improved, but has only become worse and more threatening. We hope that through this newspaper and other Baal HaSulam writings, we will be able to draw toward us that upper force that will continuously bring us love, create peace among us, security, and the power of life. As already mentioned, may we live to correct the relations among us, and following that the relations between us and our neighbors and the entire world.
