From egoism to alturism |

We live in a world where our personal needs surpass the needs of everyone else. This has caused a major problem with our society, the break down of the family, the rise in crime and drug use and the economic/political crisis we have come to. We have reached a point where we rely on each other for everything but we do not treat each other like we do. This problem needs to be resolved and soon. We need to work towards feeling that we are all connect and that we all rely on each other for everything. This books said it all, though I had a tough time reading some passages and found myself having to reread some of it. By the end of the book I really thought that the book gave an explanation of why we are in this state of egoism/chaos and what we must do to find the altruism/ harmony.

The title says it all |

A fast, easy read. I also found it very relevant to the problems & struggles we are all facing. This book was written in 2006 & I don't remember hearing anything about a Global Crisis at that time. In that respect it's like a prophetic script begging us to open our eyes. Though this book is not an apocalyptic revelation of the end of the world. It is a practical account of why we have reached this point in humanities evaluation, not just financially, but with all of the globe's endeavors: socially, politically, individually & philosophically. The solution is in recognizing our connection with everyone & everything in a way we've never considered before we began to suffer. And to do it on a scale that can actually reverse further suffering, by revealing a truer purpose & profound love & connection between everyone. If you've ever been curious about what Kabbalah is all about, this book can put you on the right path and will offer an explanation for any crisis you may be experiencing.

The Solution to the Global Crisis
Nature is out of balance. We know this. We know that our modern industrialized society has exploited Mother Nature causing much damage to our eco system. Our weather patterns are changing and global warming is upon us. What may not be understood is all of the ramifications of this assault on Nature. The current global financial crisis is the latest example. What we do not understand is that our assault on Nature is actually an assault on our selves. We can destroy everything or we can learn from the message given by Dr. Laitman in this book. It is not too late. The ancient science of Kabbalah can explain exactly what is going on and it can also provide the solution we need. This is a very important book!

The escalating global financial crisis makes this book, written over two years ago, incredibly relevant. Latiman explains: "The purpose of the crisis is to make us realize that we are treading the wrong path and must change course." How to change course is precisely what Laitman shares: it is to implement a fascinatingly simple principle of altruism. Altruism is the natural law that even our own bodies obey as each cell and each organ operates only to fulfill the needs of the entity as a whole. Laitman offers proofs of both the causes of the economic crisis, and all other social, personal, and global problems, and the solution for all of them. This is a brilliant, logical approach to achieving harmony and peace that we all yearn for. Better still, Laitman describes that every individual, each and every one of us, CAN make a difference.

From Chaos To Harmony is a wonderful opportunity to see the state we live in. Sometimes it takes a very strong statement to show a person what needs to change. Dr. Laitman shows us clearly why we are living in the kind of world we are presently living or existing in. And, more importantly he shows us what we must do to change it. That change will only come about when each of us changes. He explains how that will occur. It was a very profound read.
