If you're a fan of the "Idiot's Guide" series this book is perfect for you and if you're looking for a comprehensive guide to Kabbalah, this is it. I personally find this is one of the best (of several) that I return to when I want to reference something quickly or when I want the side notes and side bars with definitions, facts and trivia and quotes that the "Idiot's Guide" is known for providing. If I'm looking for clarification on a Kabbalistic idea I start with this one because it's simply stated and encompasses so much information in a concise manner. I have several books on Kabbalah and by Rav Michael Laitman and I would recommend this book to the curious, the beginning student and the advanced, alike. There is something in it for all of us. I return to it often.

This book is great for a beginner who needs the answers to the basics as to what kabbalah is and is not.It begins at the beginning with the creationism story then leads in with Adam and the spliting of the souls. Abraham, Moses all the way to this point in time where correction of the souls must be made so we can once again unify with the Creator. But don't take my word for any of this read this great work and start fitting together the pieces of the puzzle of your soul.

A wonderful book that is at once entertaining and informative. Kabbalah is a vast and very daunting subject to tackle without someone to guide you, and Michael Laitman with Collin Canright are up to the task. As Kabbalah is now experiencing tremendous growth in the number of people studying, now is the time to find out what all the fuss is about. This book can help anyone to understand and demystify the science of Kabbalah, and hopefully help to answer the deep profound questions people have about the meaning of their lives. Highly recommended!

This book is outstanding as an introduction to authentic Kabbalah. It is structured in a very user friendly manner. Yeah you might be discouraged because its a Complete Idiot's Guide to a subject you may have heard referred to as wisdom. Being a true student of Kabbalah I was amazed and excited beyond words at the wealth of wisdom containted in this book. I highly recommend this book to all. As a sidenote being that I saw how user friendly this book is, I passed this to one of my friend's daughter because she was curious about what I was studying. She hasn't put it down since. She taking notes and all. Amazing! By the way she's 12!!! Bravo Rav Michael Laitman and Collin Canright on this collaboration. I still pick it up to this day as a reference!!!
