After about a year of studying I read this book. I would have to say that it condenses a lot of the wisdom of Kabbalah into a fairly easy read. You would have to do quite of bit a searching to find all the info that is in here. There are points were some of the wisdom gets a bit technical and hard to follow, but the tidbits in the margin help to keep you on track some.

This is a wonderfully important book. So full of information its practically a study course in itself.
I've often wondered about life after death, souls and reincarnation. Is it a fact, if so, then what is it like. A Guide to the Hidden Wisdom of Kabbalah explains all of this and describes the vital difference between our body and our soul.
From the frequent sidebars to the Q&A section, it covers how and why we develope the way we do, our intentions and how they decide our life's direction, from 'the first thought' and 'before there was time' through the time of the leading Kabbalists to today and the global era of Kabbalah.
Why the global era of Kabbalah, our time, today, is so important to each and every one of us to understand.
Inside A Guide to the Hidden Wisdom of Kabbalah I found beautiful answers to What Do I Need to Do?
"You need do nothing". All work is internal. Rav. Michael Laitman points out that the general and the particular are equal. What is true for the individual is true for the whole. My soul isn't isolated, it's part of all souls and therefore my actions and intentions impact the world as a whole.
Lots to consider and internalize here, this book eases the way, from 'How to Become a Student of Kabbalah' then proceeding 'Beyond the Present Reality'.
Being somewhat new to Kabbalah I found the glossary particularly helpful to refresh my mind on the terminology of Kabbalah.
I am so pleased to have found this book. It's one that is going to be read and referred to again and again as new awareness developes in my heart and mind.

Today more than ever, the wisdom of Kabbalah must be made accessible to all. With this book, the third edition of the title,Rav Laitman has given everyone the opportunity to receive this wisdom in a format that is wonderfully easy to read and understand.
This book utilizes five different kinds of sidebars throughout the text which highlight important points including "Kabbalearn" which provides definitions of Kabbalistic terms: "Tidbits" which are little fun facts about Kabbalah: "Off Course" which clear up misconceptions and show the reader what to avoid in the study of Kabbalah: "Spiritual Sparks" which are quotes and poems from Kabbalists and "On Course", which gives tips on putting all points into practice.
Organized and well planned, this book offers the new reader the basics of Kabbalah so that they may find enough information to begin their journey, and yet gives the serious student of Kabbalah a new, refreshing view of the essence of this true science of spirituality.
Written for our times, the book will be a wonderful tool for dissemination as well as welcome addition to any Kabbalah student's library.
